Triple Pine Farm's Sustainable Grazing Practices
At Triple Pine Farm, we are committed to sustainable agriculture and regenerative grazing methods that prioritize animal welfare and long-term land health. We utilize high-intensity rotational grazing, a practice that mimics natural grazing behavior to optimize both nutrition and soil vitality.
Our St. Croix sheep and Angus cattle are moved daily to fresh, parasite-free pasture, which allows us to:
- Minimize the need for chemical worming
- Promote natural movement and animal wellness
- Maximize forage quality and nutrient intake
- Protect and rebuild pasture ecosystems
Each section of pasture rests for at least 60 days before livestock are reintroduced. This recovery period strengthens root systems, encourages natural fertilization, and increases drought resistance—all without synthetic inputs.
As multi-generational stewards of this land, we are dedicated to preserving its value and vitality for future generations. Triple Pine Farm is not just a place to raise livestock—it's where we cultivate a legacy of responsible, regenerative farming.
